There will be an Idling Action event in Lambeth on Monday 26th March from 2pm to 4pm at Corpus Christi Primary School in Brixton. This event will start with training for volunteers at 2pm (please arrive a little early to allow time for signing in) and then pairs of volunteers will be on the streets at picking up time to engage with idling drivers around the school.
This Idling Action event in Wandsworth will take place at Swaffield Primary School near Wandsworth town centre on Monday 26th March at 2pm.
We will be engaging with children and their parents outside schools and in the local area, encouraging idling drivers to switch off their engines when stationary.
We are currently recruiting a team of enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of this innovative education and behaviour change campaign to reduce localised air pollution and improve air quality in their residential and workplace community.
If you want to be a Vehicle Idling Action Champion in Wandsworth, please fill in the form on the Volunteers page of this website.
Our next Idling Action event in Hammersmith & Fulham will take place on Wednesday 28th March at 3.15pm outside West London Free School Primary.
