18 local authorities are involved in the campaign and will be coordinating action events in idling hotspots in their borough. Below you can find information about when the training and action events will be taking place. City of London Idling Action event @ City of London Corporation, 78-83 Upper Thames St
Dec 12 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

There will be an Idling Action Event held at City of London Corporation’s offices at 9.30am on Wednesday 12th December. There will be a training session from 9.30am and then a short briefing for all volunteers. Pairs of volunteers will then take to the streets, talking to drivers who are in idling vehicles and encouraging them to switch off.

We are currently recruiting a team of enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of this innovative education and behaviour change campaign to reduce localised air pollution and improve air quality in their residential and workplace community.

Camden Idling Action Event @ Sarum Hall School & Other Local Schools

There will be an Idling Action Event held at Sarum Hall School on Wednesday 23rd January on Eton Avenue. There will be a short training session followed by an idling event, and parents and residents from all schools in the Eton Avenue area are welcome to volunteer.

Brent Idling Action Event @ Tesco Metro
Jan 30 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join us for this Idling Action event in Harlesden at 1pm on Wednesday 30th January where we will be talking to drivers in the area and asking them to switch off when parked. We will be meeting outside Tesco Metro in the Harlesden Plaza, before heading off to John Keble School on Crownhill road for an event.
