This Idling Action event in City of London is the fifth in our exciting series of monthly Vehicle Idling Action Days in the borough.
Our team of volunteer Vehicle Idling Action Champions will gather at the Residents Meeting Room/Lilac Room, Barbican Estate Office (3 Lauderdale Place) at 9am for training and then once this is completed, pairs of volunteers walk around the streets in the local area, engaging with drivers who are in idling vehicles and encouraging them to switch off.
We are currently recruiting a team of enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of this innovative education and behaviour change campaign to reduce localised air pollution and improve air quality in their residential and workplace community.
If you want to be a Vehicle Idling Action Champion in the City of London, please fill in the form on the Volunteers page of this website.
Please note: all volunteers must also attend one of our training sessions prior to the Action Day. Please get in touch if you have not been able to attend a training session but would like to come to an Action Event.
