The next Idling Action event in Greenwich will take place at Linton Mead Primary School on Thursday 28th March (this event was originally scheduled for 12th March but the bad weather meant that it was postponed).
Volunteers should come to the school for 2.15pm for a training session before pairs of volunteers go out on to the streets around the school to engage with idling drivers. The pupils will also attend a special assembly to learn about how idling engines and transport affect air quality and health.
We are currently recruiting a team of enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of this innovative education and behaviour change campaign to reduce localised air pollution and improve air quality in their residential and workplace community.
If you want to be a Vehicle Idling Action Champion in Greenwich, please fill in the form on the Volunteers page of this website.
