This Idling Action event in Tower Hamlets is the latest in our exciting series of monthly Vehicle Idling Action Days in the borough. The Idling Action Days ‘pop up’ in a designated hotspot in each borough and after an initial briefing, will last for approximately 2 hours. Volunteers should meet at the main entrance to the Royal London Hospital on Whitechapel Road at 11am. The main entrance is behind the old front building with the gold ‘Royal London Hospital’ signage.
We are currently recruiting a team of enthusiastic volunteers who want to be part of this innovative education and behaviour change campaign to reduce localised air pollution and improve air quality in their residential and workplace community.
If you want to be a Vehicle Idling Action Champion in Tower Hamlets, please fill in the form on the Volunteers page of this website.
Please note: all volunteers must also attend one of our training sessions prior to the Action Day. Please get in touch if you have not been able to attend a training session but would like to come to an Action Event.
